How It Works
Our Process
1. Book a consultation.
We help you choose the fabrics, materials, and accessories that will best suit your needs. If you have a design in mind, please bring photos/notes with you!
2. Get measured.
We will take a series of body measurements to ensure your custom suit fits perfectly. Please avoid wearing loose or thick clothing. A simple t-shirt or form-fitting clothing is preferred.
3. Completion.
Receive your handcrafted masterpiece in 2-4 weeks. Production times may vary depending on specifications and season.
4. Adjustments.
We may ask you to come in to perform several fittings in order to make small adjustments throughout the process. Once your suit is finished, it will fit perfectly based on your specifications.

The Family Behind Thread the Needle
Meet Yelena Blond
Yelena moved to the U.S. from Ukraine in 1994, and she brought with her a unique skill that made her new U.S. friends take notice: Sewing with a personal touch.
As the former owner of Rydell’s Tailoring, Yelena has over 30 years of experience. Not only is she a master at putting together the perfect look for her clients, but she's also an expert at making each one of her customers feel at home. When you visit Thread the Needle, you will come in a stranger, and leave as a well-dressed friend.
Meet Joseph Blond
Born into a family of tailors, Joseph has been around sewing all his life. Growing up, he began his journey by sewing together small coin pouches and other novelties as a kid. His hobby grew into a passion for tailoring excellence as he apprenticed in his family’s tailor shop and mastered the art of sewing.
Joseph believes that every fabric sets a tone and every stitch writes a story, so he puts precision and perfection into his craft.
